Bruce Schell, PhD. is a Clinical Psychologist in private practice in Asheville, North Carolina. He was a professor at the Medical School of the University of South Carolina for many years, but is now enjoying the cool weather and mountains of Western North Carolina. Bruce is a published poet and writer, and, of course, a dog lover. He is presently owned by Bodhi, a rescued Labradoodle, whom he has nurtured and loved and helped change from a very frightened rescue dog to a very happy, only somewhat neurotic, member of the family. Bruce just happens to be married to Kay Loveland, the Director of Camp Unleashed Asheville. He leads a workshop called "Puppy Tales" and his hope is to help people express their bonds with dogs in poetry or story.
