About Camp Berkshires
Camp Becket-Chimney Corners YMCA, in Becket, Massachusetts is in the beautiful Berkshires. This rustic camp has a charming vintage feel. Set on 1,300 forested acres alongside a pristine, spring-fed, private 100-acre lake with two beach waterfronts, it is a little less than three hours from New York City and Boston — the perfect retreat for city dogs who dream of the unleashed life.

Camp Unleashed Berkshires offers dogs and their people a weekend retreat organized to be fun, satisfying, relaxing and educational. Daily activities are planned to keep the dogs active and participatory. Presentations and workshops teach campers how to take the best care of their dog. Sports are led by experts to engage the dogs and help campers understand how to maximize their dog's abilities. Participation in activities is optional, and some campers may choose to simply relax by the lake with their dogs.

Camp Unleashed Berkshire Package Prices are per person. Fee includes all costs of lodging, meals and programs. Shared Cabin (3-4 people) $799 per person
Double-Occupancy Cabin $949 per person*
Single-Occupancy Cabin $1049
If two people with only one dog between them are sharing a
Double-Occupancy cabin or room, the fee for the second person is only
from three types of accommodations. Single-Occupancy provides one
person a private cabin or room in Gibson Hall. Double-Occupancy provides one cabin (or room)for
two people with separate beds. Shared Cabin is designed to house three
to four people (although alcoves provide some privacy).
Becket by flashlight in a spacious woodsy cabin (see photo in left hand column) with a nearby modern
washhouse, or if electricity and indoor plumbing are your priority,
choose a private room in two-story historic Gibson Hall (see bottom most photo in left hand column.) Rates
are the same for either cabin or Gibson Hall. Please note that Gibson Hall is at the outer edge of camp and therefore a longer walk to most activities. All of the cabins and rooms are furnished simply with wooden twin-size bunk beds and cubby holes for your belongings. Extra mattresses are available to double up for more comfort or you may bring your own air mattress.
Campers bring their own dog food, flashlights, towels, and a sleeping bag or bedding. We can refrigerate your dog's food if necessary. Three healthy adult meals (with options for vegetarians) are served daily, including a full salad bar at both lunch and dinner.
Once your balance is paid in full (approximately 60 days prior to camp start date), you will be sent a Camp Unleashed Berkshires Orientation Packet via email, including forms to return, a list of what to bring, directions, details about program activities and other important particulars.

Discounts are available and we are open to work/trade scholarships. In particular, we encourage you to refer your friends and receive a $25 credit reward for each referral (no limit).
Payment / Cancellation Policies
A deposit of $200 per person is required and is non-refundable under all circumstances. Once you register you will be directed to a detailed survey questionnaire to determine if your dog has the skills and temperament appropriate for an unleashed camp. (If your dog is not accepted you will receive a complete refund.) The full amount of the package you select must be paid 60 days before camp.
Because our highest priority is a safe, relaxed environment we reserve the right to ask you to leave camp WITHOUT A REFUND if we deem your dog to be a danger to other dogs or people at camp. For more information see Camp Rules, or email firstname.lastname@example.org to discuss.
All deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable. The final balance is due 60 days prior to the session start date. You will receive an email from us with an invoice for your balance.
