Heather Brannan, Logistics Director

When her parents moved her from Southern California to Western North Carolina, Heather coped with the culture shock by trading her skateboard and volleyball for a horse and a dog!  This began her lifelong appreciation for the impact that animals can have on the human soul.

Currently the Crew Leader for the Outdoor Adventure Center at Biltmore and a Land Rover Driving Experience Concierge, Heather has over 20 years of event planning and execution experience.  She has served as the logistics director and special events manager for a multitude of local and international events.  Highlights include The National Gingerbread House Competition, Celtic Adventure Weekend, U.S National Endurance Riding Championships, Comedy Classic, and her personal Super Bowl parties. Heather particularly enjoys the opportunity to combine her professional skills with her admiration for animals and their people, as she has done for Asheville Humane Society, Western Carolina Arabian Horse Association, Best Friends Animal Society, Camp Unleashed, and more.

Heather lives in Asheville with her two dogs, Anderson and Bristol, and her two horses, Jovian and The Rainbow Warrior.  In all of her “spare” time, she enjoys hiking, cycling, off-road adventures, cross-stitch and travel.
